I've released my second app to the App Store. RewardMe is a rewards app for children. Parents can set tasks for their child to complete & earns points towards a reward.
The idea for the app came about when I was looking for a reward app for my daughter. I tried other apps, but they did not work the way I wanted them to, or they seemed to be abandoned and no longer updated. I didn't set out to create a finished product; rather, I started tinkering and experimenting with ideas until I had something that was simple and functional. It was only later, when it started to resemble a finished product, that I decided to release it.
Dashboard
I designed the app to have a simple dashboard that easily displays a child's tasks. The dashboard is the main view for the child, where they can view their list of tasks for the day, the points they have earned, and the rewards that are available to claim.
Tasks and Rewards
Parents can create tasks and rewards that are assigned to their child/children. This means that parents do not have to create the same task for each child individually. With RewardMe Premium, parents can also set tasks for specific days.
What's Next
Of course, I have a number of features I want to add to the app. Additionally, I also intend on writing more about the release process of the app. Look out for that in the near future!
